Venezuelan-born bass Daniel Chomiak trained at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance, where he continues his studies on the Professional Diploma in Vocal Performance. Specialising in baroque repertoire and the Mozart bass roles, recent engagements include Caronte and Plutone in Monteverdi’s L’Orfeo at the Sabbioneta Chamber Opera Festival under Sara Mingardo, and Achis and the Ghost of Samuel in Charpentier’s David et Jonathas with New Sussex Opera. Forthcoming roles include Masetto (Don Giovanni) with St Albans Chamber Opera and Colline (La bohème) with Arcadian Opera.
